Delete your account and its data

Nox Bible, by Dat Vu

Nox Bible has no account until you make one. The whole app works signed out, and nothing is uploaded from a library nobody signed into. An account exists only if you tapped Continue with Google or Continue with Apple, and this page is how you undo that.

Delete it from inside the app

  1. Open Nox Bible and go to the You tab.
  2. On the account card, tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm, then confirm once more with Google or Apple in the sheet that appears.

There is no undo. Backing out of the Google or Apple sheet cancels the deletion and leaves everything as it was.

Signing out is not deleting. Sign out ends the session on that phone and leaves your synced library in the account. Only Delete account removes it.

Delete it by email

If you cannot reach the button — you uninstalled the app, you lost the phone, or sign-in is failing — email datvu.meo@gmail.com with the subject Delete my Nox Bible account, and tell me:

I delete the account by hand within 30 days and reply when it is done. I ask for those details only to find the right record, and I do not use them for anything else.

What is deleted

All of it, immediately, and not merely hidden:

WhatWhere it lived
Your marks, notes, bookmarks and reading logusers/<your user id> in Cloud Firestore
Your synced settings and reading positionusers/<your user id>/prefs in Cloud Firestore
The account record — the user id, which provider you used, and the email address, name and picture address that provider passed alongFirebase Authentication

No copy of any of it is kept elsewhere: I hold no database of my own.

What is kept, and for how long

Deleted records may survive a short while in Google's routine infrastructure backups before they age out. Nothing is retained beyond that.
