Privacy Policy
I am Dat Vu, an independent developer, and I make Real Flip: Bottle World Tour on my own. This policy explains what the game does with information, in plain terms. It is short because the game collects very little.
The short version
The game works entirely offline. Your progress lives on your phone and I never see it. The only thing that ever leaves your device is a leaderboard row — a nickname and a score — and only after you switch the Global leaderboard on yourself. Turning it off deletes that row. There is no account, no login, and no tracking across other apps.
What stays on your device
Progress, settings, chosen language, chosen bottle skin, local scores, which levels an ad has unlocked, and whether you own the Full World Unlock — all of it is stored on your phone only. I do not receive any of it unless you paste it into an email to me.
The Global leaderboard, if you turn it on
What it sends
The Global leaderboard is off until you accept the consent card the first time you open Rankings. Nothing is sent before that. If you join, the game sends the following to Google Cloud Firestore:
- a randomly generated Player ID, and an anonymous sign-in identifier;
- the public nickname you typed, after it passes the filter;
- your furthest level, attempt count, Rush points, completion time, and the time you submitted.
That is the whole list. It is tied to a random Player ID, not to an account, an email address, or your real name. The leaderboard is public, so please do not put your real name or anything personal in your nickname — the game rejects nicknames that look like an email address, a phone number, or a link, but it cannot spot every kind of personal detail.
How long I keep it, and how to delete it
Your row stays for as long as you leave the Global leaderboard switched on. Switching it off in Settings deletes the row from the server straight away; if that request cannot get through, the game tries again the next time you open it.
You can also email me at datvu.meo@gmail.com with your Player ID to ask for a copy, a correction, or a deletion. I aim to finish those within 30 days.
Nicknames and reporting
Nicknames are checked before they are saved and again before they are published. Tap any other player's row to hide them from your own view, or to report the nickname to me. Reports go to a place only I can read, and I use them to review and remove nicknames that break the rules.
Ads
The game shows optional rewarded ads, and one banner on the Rush result screen, through Google Mobile Ads. Google may process device identifiers, advertising data, product interaction, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and diagnostic information in order to deliver, cap, secure, and measure those ads.
The game does not ask for iOS tracking permission and does not use the advertising identifier to follow you across other apps. Where local law requires a consent message, the game shows it before it requests any ad, and Settings keeps a permanent Ad privacy options entry so you can change your mind later.

The purchase
Full World Unlock is handled by Apple through the App Store. I never see your card details. Apple and StoreKit process the purchase and any restore under Apple's own terms. The game keeps the resulting entitlement on your device so it can unlock what you paid for and bring it back after a reinstall.

If you email me
I process whatever you send — your email address, device and app details, screenshots, Player ID, and your message — to answer you, look into problems, moderate content, and stop abuse. I keep support emails for 12 months unless I have a legal or security reason to keep them longer.
What the game never asks for
There is no account and no login. The game does not ask for your real name, email address, contacts, precise location, photos, camera, microphone, health data, bank or card details, or passwords.
Why I process this, and on what basis
To run the game and the optional leaderboard; to save and restore your purchase; to show optional rewarded ads; to protect the game and its players from cheating and abusive content; to answer support, privacy, and moderation requests; and to meet legal obligations.
Where consent is required, I rely on your consent — that is what the leaderboard opt-in and the ad consent message are for. Otherwise I rely on providing the service you asked for, my legitimate interest in running and protecting the game, and my legal obligations.
Who else is involved
I share information only where it is needed, with:
- Google — rewarded ads, the consent and measurement services around them, and the Firestore database behind the optional leaderboard;
- Apple — App Store distribution, purchases, and restores;
- authorities or others, where the law requires it or where it is needed to protect rights and safety.
I do not sell personal information, and I do not share it for advertising outside the game.
Where the data goes
Google and Apple may process this information in countries other than the one you live in. I rely on the transfer protections those companies provide, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses where they apply.
Security
Everything travels over HTTPS. The database rules let you write only your own row, refuse a score that goes down, and check every field on the server. Access is restricted to me. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and I will not pretend otherwise.
Children
The game is not aimed at children below the minimum digital-consent age in their country, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has submitted something, email me at datvu.meo@gmail.com and I will look into it and delete it.
Your choices
- Play without the Global leaderboard — it is off unless you turn it on.
- Turn it off at any time in Settings, which also deletes your published row.
- Change or withdraw your ad consent in Settings → Ad privacy options, where that applies to your region.
- Hide or report any other player on the leaderboard.
- Ask me for a copy, a correction, or a deletion of your leaderboard and support data.
- Complain to your local data-protection authority if you are in a country that has one.
Deleting the app removes the local data the way iOS normally does, but it does not remove a leaderboard row — nothing in the row identifies you, so I cannot find it for you. Switch the Global leaderboard off before you uninstall, or email me your Player ID.
Changes
I will update this page when the game, its providers, or the law changes, and the new effective date will appear at the top.
